Restorative, Thursday at 5:15

"let's begin right where you find yourself."

most people started on their backs. several peeps began seated. we opened the practice by bring awareness towards the breath. the emphasis was on observing the breath without changing it or making any effort.

elevated legs up with wall with a bolster under the low back/sacrum. bring strap around the mid thighs for support.
eye of the needle (hip opener) on both sides.

transition into baddha konasana with soles of the feet on the bolster, hands on the low belly, breathing. stretch arms over the top of the head towards the center of the room.

supine baddha konasana over the bolster with a strap around thighs/sacrum.

side lying rest pose

forward fold spinal twist (on both sides)

supported bridge pose over bolster with option of strap around the thighs
